Character Generation Guidelines.
All characters for Crossroads will be built using the base character generation
rules within the Revised Laws of the Wild published by White-Wolf.
Within this book there a few things which they fail to mention in regards to building
your character. Also there are some things deemed necessary by the Storytellers
to help keep the realism and balance of the game.
- All characters submitted for approval
must do so in tandem with a character history. Under no circumstances will
a character sheet even be considered without a character history. We are not
asking for a short novella. All that we ask is that you talk about you characters
life before his first change and any Merits, Flaws, or abnormally high Abilities
or Traits. The staff reserves the right to disallow any character we feel
is simply a consortium of stats.
- You are welcome to submit any
character for this game, but be advised, that not all tribes are appropriate
to this setting. In addition, should you wish to sumbit a non-standard type
of Garou outside of the 12 basic tribes, or any other character which is not
Garou, you will find the likelihood of the submitted character being accepted
diminishing the further away from the norm the character's concept is. This
is not to say we will give a definitive no, but it is likely
- The freebie point chart was omitted

- The only Gifts, Merits, Flaws, etc, which can be used at base character gen,
are those which are found within the Laws of the Wild book. If a player wishes
to try to find and learn something which is not within this book, they will
find it difficult, though not impossible. The point to be remembered is that
if a non-standard Ability/Gift/Merit etc, is allowed within the game, all players
will be notified before each game, and it will be posted on the web page. So
if you hear of this, you can be assured that a PC has it.
